About the project
As the longstanding Digital Product Design Agency for Banco Itaú, DHNN was entrusted with the responsibility of conducting a comprehensive product discovery, research, ideation, and UX/UI design process for their new Banking app.
The primary objective of this project was to modernize the user interface (UI) of the existing app, while simultaneously enhancing the overall user experience (UX) and expanding the range of product functionalities. By achieving these objectives, our aim was to position the app at the forefront of the global digital banking landscape.
Our challenge extended beyond the modernization of visual elements, which we accomplished by applying cutting-edge design principles and UX best practices. It also involved aligning the app with the latest industry standards, while addressing the evolving expectations of users, adding new key functionalities and features, enabling them to enjoy enhanced control, flexibility, and convenience on their daily banking tasks.

Our focus was on developing a clean icon system that prioritized clarity and visual accessibility, providing users with intuitive guidance to effortlessly perform tasks, improving their understanding of different app messages, actions and functionalities.
By defining a carefuly crafted grid system and implementing a user-centered design, we were able to create a seamless and intuitive navigation experience, ensuring optimal usability, clear information hierarchy, and efficent interaction patterns that contrinuted to an overall great user experience.
Improvements

We optimized the app navigation by designing a clear and streamlined information architecture, ensuring an efficient user journeys by prioritizing key features, and creating a simple navigation flow that reduces cognitive load, leading to effortless user interactions.
We ensured a great user experience by enhancing the app through consistent components, actions, and behaviors, creating an intuitive interaction flow that fosters familiarity and efficiency for users.
We designed the app with accessibility in mind to ensure inclusivity, allowing all users to effortlessly navigate and interact with the app, regardless of their abilities or particular situation.
